Sales & Distribution is a three-hour live online workshop on how independent films and series find buyers. It's for writers, producers and filmmakers with a project in development, in production or finished and ready to sell.
The first half covers how the market works today: what sales agents and distributors look for, how festivals, markets and streamers fit together, which genres and budgets are selling, and what buyers expect to see in a package.
The second half is about your project. Send your logline, synopsis or pitch deck ahead of time, and our instructor will assess where it fits in the market, who the likely buyers are, and what would make it easier to sell. Everyone hears the notes on each project, so you learn from the whole room.
Classes are capped at eight participants, so every project gets reviewed.
